P.S. I love you.

Over 65% of our mentors have signed up to correspond with their mentees since school was closed. Kids love getting letters and we love seeing them suddenly realize that being able to communicate by writing and reading is very important. Here are a few quotes from the notes written by the kids:

Sometimes I pretend you are with me.

It’s going to be my birthday on Sunday.

I miss our times together just like you do.

I’m going on walks with my dad.

We do our homework and wash the dishes.

I hope you stay safe.

My dad said I can write you more later and I will.

I hope you have a great week.

We've been planting flowers and other stuff around my Mother's garden.

I am officially done with school and all I have to do is wait for the graduation ceremony which we aren't sure when that'll be.

I miss you and I wish we could see each other again in person.

Please write back.

God bless you.

If you are a mentor and want to write to your mentee contact us and we’ll do our best to secure the address. Note, our own address has changed this week. We are now at: P.O. Box 3696, Nampa, ID 83653. If you aren't a mentor, but suddenly have time on your hands and are feeling a nudge in the way of life's priorities, mentoring a child is a tremendous way to invest in your community and your world. You spend 1 hour a week at school during the school week, just showing up and being a friend. That said, I can still train mentors via ZOOM. Click the link HERE to fill out a mentor application. Once we receive the application, I'll give you a call to set up distance training ASAP. When school resumes, we'll match you with a child! If you have questions or concerns please reach out to us and we will do our best to help.

Stay well...stay healthy...stay kind.
