We’re starting to have a beautiful fall…and it’s been a busy one already! This is just a reminder to take time to enjoy the season. Our world is often very noisy. It’s good to remember that it’s OK to be still. It’s OK to be quiet. And it’s OK to be still and quiet when you’re mentoring. Drawing, coloring, playing with clay, doing puzzles…things that take you and your mentee out of the rush of life for a few minutes. Sometimes the most profound thoughts are expressed in quiet. Just being together is OK. Just being there to listen if something needs to be said, or to be quiet when just your presence is necessary is OK.
“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.” ― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, "The Little Prince"
